The 40 plus years experience at Causeway along with the 21^st century technology that allows GLOBALFEED to produce highly available and digestible phosphates, has resulted in a partnership that has developed a new type of product with very important competitive advantages.

Unlike blocks or other supplements mixed or blended that we can find in the Australian market, Rumenphos + is produced by reaction of phosphoric acid, urea, calcium source and sodium chloride guaranteeing a homogeneous intakes of the nutrients contained in each particle. The includsion of urea and sulpher improves microbiological growth in the rumen, therefore increasing proteic nitrogen production.

The highly soluable and digestible phosphours and calcium linked to the Globalphos process improves the nutritional performance of Rumenphos + in these two materials.

Due to the chemical composition Rumenphos + guarantees a minimum TAC (True Absorption Coefficient) of 80%, always higher than standard TCP, DCP and MDCP.

Rumenphos + has been designed for the wet season pasture, whilst maintaining the solubility of the product and availability of the nutrients.

At Causeway we recommend the use of our high-quality protein meals as a supplement due to the nutritional value of a properties pasture depleting throughout a standard dry season.

Once the quality of the feed decreases, meaning there is little to no protein in the feed, the livestock cannot get full efficiency solely from the pasture. By supplementing the protein value of the pasture with an external factor e.g., a protein meal, this allows the livestock to utilize the “body of dry feed” that remains as the season progresses. This will assist with management of livestock for end goals. E.g., breeders, fattening etc.

Feed-grade urea can be an effective source of protein in cattle diets. This is due to the nitrogen portion of urea being used as the building block for the production of protein by rumen microbes. Most urea contains approximately 45% nitrogen.

The goal of feeding urea to cattle is to stimulate the rumens function and increase livestock performance, this is achieved by feeding urea constantly throughout the dry season of a cattle season in Northern Australia.

Here at Causeway we custom mix and can alter the intake of urea for the desired result, which makes us flexible for the climatic and environment conditions of each dry season.

The results of providing livestock with access to urea consistently will achieve higher efficiency in supplementation and lead to better performance out of the livestock.
